The Zermatt to Grenoble Airport route in detail

The journey begins with the shuttle train down from Zermatt to Täsch, where we meet you. From Täsch the road descends the Mattertal to Visp and joins the A9 west along the Rhône valley to Villeneuve.

From Villeneuve the motorway runs the length of Lake Geneva, skirts the city on the A1 and leaves Switzerland at the Bardonnex crossing. The French side is the A41 south through Annecy and Chambéry, then the A48 down to Grenoble Alpes–Isère.
