Zermatt sits at 1,620 m at the head of the Mattertal, under the Matterhorn, and it is one of the few Alpine resorts that has never allowed combustion cars. We run private, door-to-door transfers to Zermatt from three French airports, priced per vehicle on the real road distance to your address.
Zermatt is car-free. We drop you at Täsch railway station, and you continue the last stretch by the shuttle train, which takes about 12 minutes. There is no road access beyond that point for any vehicle — this applies to every transfer company, not only ours.

Distances are measured by road to Täsch railway station and checked against Google Maps. Prices are for a Comfort XL vehicle carrying up to eight passengers with ski or snowboard bags, and are fixed at the time of booking — they do not change if the traffic does.
Return transfers from Zermatt
Every route runs in both directions at the same fixed price. For the return leg we agree a pickup time based on your flight, and for the train down from Zermatt plus check-in we build in the margin rather than leaving it to chance. Booking both legs together is the simplest way to keep one price and one driver arrangement.

Choosing your airport
Chambéry is the closest of the three at 317 km and the cheapest, but it has the smallest flight schedule. Lyon Saint-Exupéry has by far the widest choice of flights, and Grenoble sits between the two. If your dates are flexible, comparing the total of flight plus transfer usually matters more than the transfer price alone.
The road in winter
The drive follows motorway almost the whole way, then turns up the Mattertal at Visp. The valley road from Visp to Täsch is well maintained and cleared through winter, but it is a single road with no alternative — if it closes after heavy snow, there is no detour. We watch the conditions and will tell you in advance if a departure needs to move.
Zermatt is car-free
No private combustion vehicles are allowed in Zermatt. Our drivers take you to Täsch railway station, help with luggage, and point you to the onward connection. If you are carrying ski bags and want help with the transition, tell us when you book and the driver will allow for it.
Ski and snowboard carriage
Skis, snowboards and boot bags travel at no extra charge. The vehicle is sized for the equipment you tell us about, so please list it when booking rather than at the kerb — it is the difference between a comfortable journey and a cramped one.
The Swiss motorway vignette
Every vehicle entering Switzerland on the motorway network needs an annual vignette. Ours carry one, and the cost is already inside the price you see. You do not need to buy anything at the border.
