Geneva to Morzine Transfer Cost 2026/27 — and the Bus, Taxi and Uber Alternatives

The short version

  • A Geneva to Morzine transfer costs from €150 (≈ £129) on a weekday. That is our standard or shared transfer for up to 3 passengers: door to door, in a minivan you may share with other travellers (maximum 3 stops); if nobody else books, it runs as a standard transfer just for you.
  • A private 7-seat minivan is from €167 (≈ £144) and a private 8-seat minibus from €171 (≈ £147) — about €21.38 per person when eight travel.
  • Other operators’ shared seats were advertised from about £19 to £32 per person on 2 October 2026. Up to four people, a single seat is cheaper. At six it depends on the operator. At eight, a private minibus costs less per head than any seat we found.
  • Taxis from the airport rank are charged per kilometre, not agreed in advance; scheduled buses run in winter only.
  • The drive is around 1h 30min for about 86 km in normal conditions.

Geneva to Morzine transfer cost by group size

Our standard or shared transfer is priced per booking for up to 3 passengers; private vehicles are priced per vehicle, not per seat. So the cost per person depends on your group:

Group Transfer From (weekday) Per person
2 people standard or shared transfer (up to 3 passengers) from €150 (≈ £129) €75.00 (≈ £64.41)
4 people private 7-seat minivan from €167 (≈ £144) €41.75 (≈ £35.85)
6 people private 7-seat minivan from €167 (≈ £144) €27.83 (≈ £23.90)
8 people private 8-seat minibus from €171 (≈ £147) €21.38 (≈ £18.36)

Skis, snowboards, boot bags and luggage are included, and child seats are fitted on request. See the price for your own date on the Geneva to Morzine transfer page, or all Morzine transfers from the four airports.

Other shared shuttles: what the seat prices are

Operator Published price What it is
Alpine Fleet from £19 / €22.50 per person Shared transfer
Alps2Alps from €29 / £24 per person Shared transfer, headline price on its Geneva – Morzine page
Ski-Lifts from £32 per person Shared transfer
Go Transfer Peak from €150 (≈ £129) per booking, up to 3 passengers Standard or shared transfer, door to door; private vehicles from €167

Against the cheapest seat (€22.50): two people pay €45 for seats against €150 for our standard or shared transfer; four pay €90 against €167 for a private 7-seat minivan; six pay €135 against the same €167; eight pay €180 against €171 for a private 8-seat minibus. Against a €29 seat the private minivan is already level at six (€174 against €167).

What the seat price leaves out: a shared vehicle waits for other flights and may stop at several addresses, and a “from” price is the cheapest date the company sells. If you land late, travel with small children or stay up a side road, that is where a private transfer earns its price. The wider comparison is in shared vs private transfer cost per person.

Geneva to Morzine by bus

The Morzine tourist office says regular bus transfers run between Geneva Airport and Morzine, but only during the winter season. Swiss Tours and Altibus both list a Geneva Airport – Morzine line; neither had published a winter 2026/27 timetable when we checked on 2 October 2026, and FlixBus showed its Geneva Airport – Morzine connection as currently unavailable. Check times against your flight: a missed bus can mean a long wait.

By train

Morzine has no railway. The tourist office names Cluses and Thonon-les-Bains as the nearest stations, both about a 40-minute drive away, with regional buses (lines Y92 from Cluses and Y91 from Thonon-les-Bains) running up the valley. From Geneva Airport that means at least one change of train and then a bus.

By taxi or Uber

Taxi. The rank is outside arrivals. Geneva Airport publishes flat fares only within Geneva; for other destinations the fare is calculated on a regulated price per kilometre, so the total for an 86 km run to Morzine is not known in advance.

Uber. Uber operates at Geneva Airport, and prices are set in the app when you request the ride. Uber states that drivers are not guaranteed to have child seats, and a standard car has limited room for ski bags, so check both before you rely on it for a ski trip.

Pre-booked transfer. The same door-to-door journey with the price confirmed before you travel and a driver who tracks your flight: from €150 on a weekday for our standard or shared transfer, or from €167 for a private minivan sized for your group and skis.
